COMPARE COREL AFTERSHOT 3 AND AFTERSHOT PRO 3 UPDATE
I don't think I've ever successfuly had an editing session that lasted more than a few minutes without it crashing.įortunately on the positive side it has never lost much data when crashing and the results when you can put up with all the crashing are worthwhile. Discover AfterShot Pro 3.2 Free Update Available Now Today, we’re excited to announce Update 2 for AfterShot Pro 3 is now live Our second update to the world’s fastest photo editor is available right now as a FREE download for anyone with a fully-licensed copy AfterShot Pro 3 or AfterShot 3. Corel has launched AfterShot Pro 3, the latest version of its photo editing software. Complete Photo Editor andExpansive Brush Plugin. It occasionally interprets Canon Raw files incorrectly, showing up what looks like a memory error, but Irfanview shows the raw file is fine. Compare the editing functionality of Corel AfterShot Pro vs Photoshop in order to choose the best option for your needs. It still crashes like that but much less frequently. You’ll see that with the RAW image selected, the Lens Correction area is now lit up, meaning it can be accessed (note that you’ll need to use RAW. Once selected, head over to the Detail tab (found along the right-hand-side of the AfterShot window) and scroll down to Lens Correction. It seems to crash less frequently if you make sure the mouse doesn't move across the AfterShot 3 window whilst it is mporting, so best is to start importing and mimize AfterShot 3 immediately. To get started, select any RAW photo from your collection. Select the Detail menu > under the Lens Correction > tick on the small box of the Enable correction and Resize Image. To correct this, on the right side of the Workspace there is a Side bar menu selection. They seem to occur more frequently when importing from the NAS, but they also occur when importing form the local disk. As you can see below the Image has a Fish-Eye Effect which the four corners of the image are curved. I also have crashes at random when importing. This means that if you work like me and do a lot of editing on a laptop but then move all the work onto a NAS later, when you try to remove the references in your library to the old local copy you have to recreate the directory, add a photo, import it and then go into the library and select that photo, then you can click ctrl-a to select all of them and remove all versions and finally you can remove the directory from you library! On AfterShot Pro 3 with the second update installed, if you go into your library and select any photo that is currently offline, the program crashes. This program is ridiculously buggy for supposably production software.
